Fighting For Air

Fighting For Air: The Battle To Control America's Media by Eric Klinenberg. This book is about big media and its consequences. It is about information conglomerates and the destruction of localism in U.S. media and journalism. It is also about the future that includes media activists and citizen journalists. Klinenberg, an associate professor of sociology at New York University, is no slouch. The book is well written and well research. It should appeal to anyone who is tired of canned media. 302.23 K685F 2007
